Eligibility header

Below is a summary of the eligibility rules for the TWU Local 100 NYCTA Child Care Fund. For complete Plan rules, call and speak to a Fund respresentative. Eligibility for benefits from the Plan depends upon the particular collective bargaining agreement or participation covering your employment.

STEP 1

    ✔   Am I an active TA/OA or MTA Bus employee represented by TWU?

    ✔   Did I pass my probationary period?

    ✔   Am I an active Local 100 member in good standing?

    ✔   Do I have legal guardianship or a dependent 12 years and under?

If you answered YES to all of the above questions, go on to STEP 2.

If you answered NO to any of the above questions, you are ineligible. Call the Fund for more details.

STEP 2

Apply in person during registration period (February & March) - the following ORIGINAL documents:

    ✔   Child(ren) original Birth Certificate(s).

    ✔   Child(ren) original Social Security Card(s).

    ✔   Child(ren) Health Insurance Card(s).

    ✔   Member’s last two (2) pay stubs.

STEP 3

If you are accepted:

    • We will mail an acceptance package to your home after the registration period.

    • You and your child’s provider must fill out the packet entirely with all required documentation and return it back to us by the specified date in your packet.
